Multiple iphones or other apple devices. Can multiple devices connect and control thermostat?

People in home have iphones or other apple devices. Can multiple devices connect and control one thermostat? Say I change it on my phone, then my daughter comes home. Could she also change it on her phone?

    We installed a Nest in our home last month. Then my husband and I downloaded the Nest app to our I-phones. Both of us have been successfully able to control the device from different locations.
