I have 2 thermostats for my two heating zones, and a third thermostat for my ac. Will I need 3 Nest Thermostats to control both heat and air?

  • Yes and no.

    If you don't want to reroute the wires in your house, then you will need three Nest's. Otherwise if you can route the A/C wires to one of the heating only thermostats, Nest can switch between heating and cooling.

    A professionally installer can likely handle the switch over (but may charge as much a third Nest, still likely worth it though for the simplicity)
