Yes, it will definitely work with iPad 4. I use it with my iPad 4 and it works just fine. Even though the iPad is big, it sits in the dock nicely.

It's a little bit awkward to fit the 4th generation iPad onto the connector, but once it's on there it seems to work just fine.
