Will an iphone 5 using the Otterbox Defender case work with the Bose SoundDock Series III System (without removing the phone from the case)?

    No, it will not. I bought this new Bose sounddock the day it arrived in my local store and found out that basically any case covering the bottom of your iPhone 5 will not fit on this dock. Right now I'm just using it with the 3.5mm aux jack but I'm patiently waiting for someone to come out with some sort of lightning to lightning adapter or dock extender.

  • I highly doubt it. most of the manufactures use stock devices when designing their products.
