Will this fit my 13" Macbook? It's not a Macbook pro and it's about 4 years old.

No, the new generation off macbooks are thinner than yours, and im not too sure that they sell them anymore

Actually, the 13" late 2008 MacBook with the aluminium unibody has the exact same dimensions as the latest 13" MacBook Pro, so this case will fit. It the the MacBook Pro with Retina that is the thinner model.
