Will this cover fit an iPad 2 if I have a cover on the back of the device (over the aluminum bit)?

    I have this front case keyboard for my New iPad (3). I use the CaseMate Barely There cover on the back which works perfectly.

  • Probably not. The iPad fits VERY snugly into the case, held by a rubber strip around the inside edge of the case that fits very tightly to the outside edge of the iPad. If the back cover increases the outside dimensions of the iPad at all, it will not fit.

  • Yes or no. It depends how thick of your cover is. I had very thin cover that only hold edge of ipad and this keyboard works ok. Most of case would cause keyboard cannot be folded or inserted into slot for typing mode.
    I carry case with ipad in the bag and it looks great however it will have no protection if i drop.

    try before buy if you definitely want to keep the case on.
