Answer
Blue Tooth is the name for the self contained separate radio that is within each device that is labeled "Blue Tooth". It is a very short range radio, like single digit meters of range. These radios communicate with each other, not a master control center like AT&T has for their cell phone frequencies. There is no charge for using these radios. You would follow instructions for setting the channel up for both devices you want to communicate and start using it. It's that simple.

There should be no charge for using a bluetooth. Unless you don't have a phone or computer... then you need to purchase one or some sort of device that has bluetooth. I use bluetooth connection through my computer or iphone. And I have this keyboard, there is no fee to use it. It just snaps and connects to your bluetooth if you have it enabled.
