I am very interested in this device but I was wondering if it can be used with iPad or iPad Mini or can it only be used with a notebook or iMac?

no, it cannot, you can only use it with a mac or pc, plus, Djing with an ipad or ipad mini, or a mobile device for that matter, would be terrible, the screen would be cramped, you couldn't see anything.

It is now compatible with Algoriddim Djay app for iOS (i.e. iPad). Because this controller is USB bus powered (meaning it's powered by the iMac/Macbook/PC it's connected to) you'll need to get the WeCAi cable to make it work with your iPad.

Pioneer’s popular WeGO and ERGO controllers are now even more portable, with the release of the WeCAi cable – allowing DJs to use the WeGO/ERGO’s tactile controls to mix and mash up tracks on their iPads. The WeCAi cable lets aspiring DJs connect to Algoriddim’s djay app to access music direct from their iTunes library, or get to grips with video mixing using Algorridim’s vjay app.
