How do i get the spoftware...

Because I bought it from the Apple online store the Lacie rep said that I didn't have to enter in my serial number as they have some special arrangement with Apple, He said that I didn't have to register it, but I want to.. I can't get the software either that everyone says is great.. what am I doing wrong... When I enter in the S/N it doesn't except it... Weird.. Please Help

    Go to LaCie Web site (for your region) and follow the support link to the downloads section, if the software you want isn't there let us know what you are looking for.
