can you use the usb to lightning insted of the 30pin to lighting for ipad connection

  • The USB connector in the guitar is a mini-USB, so, no, that wouldn't work. However, there may be some mini-USB to normal female USB cables out there, that you could use as an extension to your original lightning cable. Whichever way you do it, you'll always need some kind of adaptor or extension cable, but there's usually cheap 3rd party options out there.
