Can I Airplay what I'm playing on the guitar to my Apple TV?

When I am using the guitar and the garage band app on my iphone or ipad, it gives me an airplay icon. When I click on it, it has an option for "Airplay - Bluetooth." What does this do, and is there any way I can airplay to my Apple TV so I can use my stereo system as a sound system?

    Yes. However, be advised that Airplay and Bluetooth, through my experience, have a lot of lag, as in slow note/sound response from the receiver or Apple TV. Then again, it may be because I use a Wireless connection on my Apple TV. Either way, Airplay works but to be perfect might as well get yourself a proper amp or decent speaker set.
