is it backwards compatible to 2.0?
I am considering this drive, but I do not know if it is backwards compatible to USB 2.0.
Since my mac is one generation old, it does not have USB 3.0.

I just received this item on yesterday. I have an older 2008 Macbook unibody and only have usb 2.0 capability. According to the packaging it is designed for USB 2.0 and 3.0. It seems to be working just fine for me!
