I have a Mac book Air 13, does this case have room for the charger and a portable DVD drive. if not does anyone have a suggestion.

Yes it has a little room but I wouldn't want to put in your superdrive or charger your mac would get scratched. Better option would be using a laptop bag like the Michael Kors Jet Set Travel Tote and the putting the sleeve inside that. Then there is plenty of room for your other bits.
