What means flight friendly? I can get into commercial aircrafts with it without being harassed by airport security?

Flight friendly means that it has no blade. It won't stop them from making the assumption that it does however. So you will end up having to argue it with anyone in security that doesn't know about it. I would chalk it up as too much hassle to be worth the investment.
