Can I print directly from ipad 4 to the printer without going through a router?? I don't have a router.

Answer
The printer has to be connected to a wireless network and your iPad has to be connected to that same network. You can't have wireless internet without a wireless router...unless you're using some other hotspot feature that provides wireless internet via cellular technology or something like that in which case both devices would still need to be connected to that network.

Yes, you can with wireless direct, you just have to set it up on your printer control panel, it is all in the manual that comes with the printer,it will show you how to do this, good luck

You must be on the same WI-FI network to print from ipad to printer...super easy when it is set up.
