I know that the jack cable can be remove/changed. But Is the jack cable of the momentum a 2.5mm to 3.5mm or a 3.5mm to 3.5mm ?

its 2.5 to 2.5 it comes with an an adaptor to 3.5

It is a 2.5mm to 3.5 mm. Standard with my Sennheiser cans. Source: own Sennheiser 558s with a similar 2.5mm to 3.5mm cable and have seen and read several reviews on this headphone.
