Is this Lightning compatible or could you use an adapter? Strangely, it doesn't say, so I must assume no, correct?

I have purchased the Lightning to 30 pin adapter for my older ihome model. The one with the 0.2m cord ($29.99 from Apple store)works with my Otterbox case on while the plain adapter (19.99) works if there is no case on the iPhone . It works just fine. You could also use the charging cord that comes with the phone as the iD99 is the only one with a USB port but I am not sure if you can play and charge at the same time. You could not on older models. Waiting to hear from ihome on that one

it is lightning compatible. Apple's adapter(not included in package contents) will allow you to play and charge your iPhone 5 on the rear dock(iPad), you can also charge your iPad mini or iPhone5 through the USB on back of unit.

The overview states that the adapter "will display in up to 720p on your HDMI-equipment". Then it goes on to say the adapter also displays in 1080p??

The text for this adapter says both "up to 720p HD" and "up to 1080p". Which is it? (The text for the 30-pin digital adapter does a better job.)
