Can an iPhone 4S with a bumper/skin be charged on the iPhone dock of this device? Or do I have to use the USB port for charging?

I want to be able to charge 3 devices at the same time.
My iPad, my iPhone and an android device. My iPhone has a bumper/skin on it. Can this be done?

  • I have a thinner plastic case on my iPhone 3GS and it plugs into Dock 1 without problem. My wife has a thicker Otterbox on her iPhone 4 and it doesn't quite fit into Dock 1 so she uses Dock 2 or the USB if she has her iPad on there as well. I would suggest going to a retailer to see if they have them on display and plug your phone into it to see if it fits. Just note that sometimes there are little dock pieces that fit in there for smaller devices so make sure it isn't in there when you try to plug your phone in.
