Do the keys leave marks on your screen? Do you have to charge the keyboard as well as your iPad?

  • The keys do not leave marks on your iPad screen, because the iPad is not enclosed with the keyboard when the keyboard cover is closed and not in use.

    When the keyboard cover is closed around the keyboard, just the keyboard is inside. The iPad is only rested against the lid of the keyboard cover when it is open and folded back.

    This product is only a keyboard cover, that opens and folds back, providing a place to rest the iPad.

    The Apple keyboard is battery operated. When the batteries are low, they are removed, recharged if they are rechargeable, or replaced.

    The iPad is recharged as it would in any usage.

  • The keys do not touch the screen when closed, so no, they don't leave marks on your screen. You do have to charge to keyboard separately from the iPad. It generally lasts through about a dozen iPad charges though.
