Can this drive be daisy-chained via the FireWire 800 port?

When used connected to USB 3.0 or USB 2.0 port, the FireWire ports are not active.
When connected to a FireWire port first, the USB port is not active.
So, the simple answer is that you can use FireWire and daisy chain, but not at the same time the USB interface is used.- Answered by Mike M from Beaverton
