Will this work with iPad 4th gen via lightning to USB cable?

I know that it will work with the 30 pin adapter, but will it connect to the iPad 4th generation model with the Lightning to USB adapter cable via the USB printer cable (the cable you would use to connect to a computer)?

    No, but it will be able to use the 30-pin to Lightning adapters you mentioned. The keyboard comes with a cable that plugs into the 30-pin connection, but the Lightning to 30-pin adapter works great with the newer devices. It wouldn't connect via the USB cable, since the keyboard also has a cable with a male USB connection, made to plug into devices (like a Mac, for instance) that have a female USB port. The keyboard itself doesn't have a female USB port where the Lightning to USB cable would plug in.
