Can this be hooked to an amplifier?

Not from the keyboard this is just a controller which means it won't make any sounds until it is plugged into either a mac, iPad or iPhone or any other such device.
The output from your device is then plugged into your amp and away you go.

This is a great little controller for iPad or iPhone as it has a plug designed just for this as it will draw power from your device but not drain it too much.

Try Garagband, Nlog pro, Animoog apps etc for a portable synth with pitch bend and mod wheel.
