does michael kors leather smell?

I have problems with chemicals and some leathers are treated with 'something' that makes it mighty smelly, to me anyway, so I just want to know is this one smelly, and if so did it go away quickly?

    I never had any smell to mine....just yummy looking luxury! I hesitated, but was worth every bit, for all the compliments it brings. I have that gloss red one apple was selling, but this orange is landing in NJ..ha!!
