Will this ATV Pro output 1080p (FUll HD) through VGA? Or does it only output 720p or lower?

Yes, it does output to 1080p@60Hz, Therefore, f you are using the latest Apple TV that supports this resolution, please make sure that your display or projector also supports that.

The overview states that the adapter "will display in up to 720p on your HDMI-equipment". Then it goes on to say the adapter also displays in 1080p??
