Will the "lightning to 30 pin adapter" allow you to charge the ipad mini or iphone 5 on the InCharge X5 charging station?

It should, although that extra length might cause the iPhone 5 or iPad 4/Mini to tip over, possibly causing the adapter to break off inside the device, or cause harm to the charing station.
