Can you still use the charger if your iPhone is in a case

They say some of the base chargers will not allow you to have a otterbox case. The case must be removed

    No, Mark, you would have to take your phone out of the Otterbox and put it in this case ad the "charging" unit is really the base of the case that attaches separately. I've had Otterbox cases in the past, but the Mophie (which is a case and charger) gives good protection and the battery charge is great to have.
