Will meter ever be compatible with iPhone 5?
Since the sync/power port on the iPhone 5 has changed, obviously the meter will no longer connect to the phone. I checked with the manufacturer who said at this time they are waiting to hear from Apple. I read that the converter does not allow every attachment to work (e.g. video). Does anyone know if the converter that is supposed to be available sometime in October from Apple or, for that matter, any 3rd party vendor as well, will work as a connection?

Yes, it does work with the iPh5 with an adapter. The software is easy to use & beautiful on the iPad. I even added my A1C reading to a note with a red from some free Emoticons. I bought a Bayer Contour USB but the Glucofacts software, like most diabetes programs, was written for the PC & ported to the Mac, so it's not as intuitive or easy to use as we Mac'rs expect.
