Does it come with 2 speakers in the box,or only one speaker. The photos confuses me.

Just the one, what it's showing is that you can buy a second one and set them up as a stereo pair if you want to later on.

You will only get one speaker in the box. But you can pair it up with another ShoqBox speaker to get stereo capabilities.
