Can I use square while my Ipad has a case on?

I don't want to have to bother with taking the case on and off when I'm using square. Will it work while it has a case on? Or does it work with certain types of cases? If so, which ones? and which one's won't it work with... LIke the trident case? That's the one i want to get, but not if i have to fool with it everytime i use square/

  • If a headphone jack will insert fully into the iPad while the case is on, you should have no problem using Square.
