  • For the retina display, there's one option you could look into (unfortunately, I am not aware if Apple sells this in their stores). This would be the Maclocks Lockable Cover. It serves as a case for your macbook, and it comes with the locking device attached to the case. Now, the case is relatively easy to remove so this won't offer you much security. However, you can remove your macbook's bottom (you need to unscrew it) and you can put, in its place, the bottom of the case. That way, the bottom is securely screwed to your macbook and you can use the locking mechanism without worry.
