Will this stand work with the new Retina Display iPad with Lightening Connector?

How does the stand charge? Is a connector built into the stand or do you use the cable that came with your iPad?

    No, it does not. It is only compatible with the iPad 2 and 3, with the 30-pin connectors, and a 30-pin to lightning connector adapter would not work with the powerstand.

    Mophie claims they are working on a stand that is compatible with the lightning connector. Frankly I'm really surprised they haven't come out with one yet.

  • YES IT WILL. you will need the separate apple 30 pin to lightning adapter and it sits maybe 10mm taller, but my 4th gen retina sits happily in my 30 pin powerstand, it works well but the lightning adaptor will come off when you remove the ipad from the stand so pop it back on
