iphone in dock

I have an iPhone 4S which I have in a cover round the edge. I can charge the phone with the cover on but find that I can't charge it when it is in the dock unless I take off the cover. Is the CandyShell similarly too thick to allow charging of the iPhone while it is in the dock?

  • Depends on which dock you are using. I can plug it into the regular cord when it is in its case, obviously, but I can not dock it into my audio system...but I wouldn't be able to dock it with any case on in my specific audio system.
