If this product is accidentally pulled out from a USB port, will my Apple Mac Time Machine 'fail' it if it is connected back in?
I first bought a Western Digital Passport to back up from Time Machine and it was accidentally pulled out from the USB on my MAC (Version 10.5.8). When I plugged it back in, my Time Machine would not recognise the disc and said 'last backup failed'. I could not get my MAC to recognise it again. So I went out and bought a Verbatim 500GB Back-up storage. The same thing happened. I have now effectively wasted close to $500 Australian. Will this happen again if I buy the Western Digital 1TB My Book for Mac?
