can you use this device on a ipad?

    This device connects to a computer via USB ports and cables. For the moment there is no way to back up your iPad directly on to this, BUT if it's your music/apps you are worried about, just back your computer to this. You computer will back up it's iTunes library (this is where it backs up iPad info) and that will be backed up into the External Hard Drive.
