Can you config this to back up a time capsule, then take off site?

I had a lighting strike that traveled up the cable line and took out both my time capsule and the hard drive in my I Mac. So I want a back up for the back up to take off site

    I'm not sure if you can back up the time capsule, but you can easily back up say your mac book, then unplug it and take it off site.
