How do these compare to the previous Bose Companion 3?

    BOSE seems to tout them as the replacement to the C3s , although you won't get the level of bass that the C3 can produce the sound quality and performance in the C20 is very, very good and arguably slightly better than other BOSE models.

  • The Bose Companion 20 speakers produces a better sound than the Companion 3. They are on par with Companion 5 speakers but not as much acoustic head room. I have never liked the 3 enough to make the purchase, but I purchased the 5. I would say the BC20 is compatible in sound to the 5 with less of a footprint.
