I use this for my 13" macbook pro and it fits fine. Obviously it is a bit of a tighter fit than normal but nothing that worries me.

No. This BookBook is specifically for the 13-inch MacBook Air. It will not fit the thicker MacBook Pro. It will however fit the previous gen Air as well as the new model.
