Can I use this case if I already have a shell case on my MBA?

I want this case but it looks like it's not that tight of a fit, I was wondering if I could get a shell case for my MBA AND have this case for excessive protection. Would my computer fit in the Book Book if it has a shell on it?

    It should be no problem using the Bookbook with a hard shell already on the MBA since most hard shells I know do not increase the size of the MBA at all.
