Is the Epson V600 scanner fully functional with LION, including ICE and the scanning software that comes shrink wrapped?

I'm looking for a fast and reliable scanner to efficiently and effectively provide high quality scans from about 1000 family photos. I want to be sure it's performance is optimal on Lion and that I don't have to jump through hoops to get Lion and the Epson V600 work together. There was a time I thought 'compatible' meant fully functional, but that time is no longer....
