Can the tray be secured to another object?

It's all well and good the tray being lockable but I to secure it to something larger, for example the desk/shelf that it will sit on. Otherwise I can see somebody lifting the whole tray and having all the time in the world to remove the padlock.

    There is a Kensington Security Slot on the back of the tray that can be used to secure the tray to an immovable object.
