I did see that this card is certified for MacPro 3,1 and up. But can somebody confirm that it won't work in a MacPro 2,1?

That seems to be true for the Radeon 5870, that's also certified for 3,1 and up, but I have seen several examples of people running it in their 2,1.

  • Tested - It does NOT work on macpro2,1 10.6 drivers by Nvidia. Only3,1 and up.
