does the snake skin peel over time on the michael kors clutch?

i'm thinking about purchasing the snake skin clutch but i'm afraid that the scales of the snake skin might peel up. I've had a snake skin wallet in the past (it was a gift) and it did that and i don't know if it was cheaply made or what. i need to know for sure before i spend money on this otherwise i might go with the gold one instead

    It isn't snake skin. It is more an etched vinyl, feels like cloth, with a print that looks like snake skin. So, now worries about it peeling up or off. It is actually quite nice, perfect for those times when you want just your phone, a couple of cards & a few bills.

  • I own the pythobe version of the MK case. I've had it for about two months , which isn't very long, but it lstill looks as new as the day it came out of the box! No peeling, cracking, etc.
    Honestly, I think you'll be very pleased with it. The case is very attractive and I love mine! I am really happy I bought it.
