Are these headphones compatible on an airplane sound system to watch movies?

Answer
Depends on headphone receptacle of IFE system installed on the aircraft. If it's single stereo 3.5mm receptacle than those work. If you fly on aircraft with system using two receptacles per headset you'll need an adaptor, and with adaptor it also works OK.
