  • No. The output from your Bell ExpressVu receiver goes through the EyeTV, where it is converted to an MP4 quicktime file. That file must then be recorded onto a hard drive, either your Mac's internal HD, or an external USB hard drive. Then you can watch the saved file on your Apple TV. You CAN however take video from your Bell ExpressVU into the EyeTV and stream that video live to your iPhone or iPad using the EyeTV software. I don't have an AppleTV so I don't know how it works, but I know you CAN stream content from your iPad through the AppleTV onto your HDTV. So in theory maybe you could go from your Bell ExpressVU, through the EyeTV, stream that to your iPad, then stream THAT through your Apple TV. That seems like a lot of steps though, and a lot of places where something could go wrong. Better just to record it to a Hard Drive then watch it after like a PVR. Plus you have the added feature that you can edit out commercials.

  • Yes, you can stream live tv or recorded to, for example, your iPad, then use airplay to your Apple TV. You'll need the EyeTV app on your iPad or iPhone.
