Does the remote switch to the next song?

    Yes, the remote allows you to switch to the next song. You can even get to the menu on your iPod with it and select whether you want to listen to Artist, Album, or Songs and select which music you want to play. Another feature I was surprised with was you can even turn the alarm clock off with the remote if it's on the other side of the room! And you can set your alarm with the remote. The remote is an excellent feature with many functions.
