Does it actually play the radio station or just music from your ipod to the Car or stereo?

    It is a transmitter that takes the audio output from the ipod and transmits it over the FM band over unused airspace. Any receiver capable of detecting the frequency used will pick up the music from the ipod as long as they are close enough to get a good signal.
