Will photoshop interact seamlessly with iPhoto library . E.g. When editing completed in Photoshop will image transfer to iPhoto library ?

  Unfortunately, the interaction between Photoshop Elements and iPhoto is not seamless. You can setup iPhoto to use Photoshop Elements as the External Editor (search for the document "Use with iPhoto | Mac OS" on the Adobe web site for more information). However, when you import images into iPhoto, they are stored WITHIN a library file, which is essentially a compressed folder. Photoshop Elements is unable to save directly to this library file (although some have reported success in doing so).
