MacBook for a Graphic Design Major?
I am looking into purchasing a MacBook, I going for Graphic Design so it would have to be able to run programs such as illustrator, photoshop..etc.. I find that I'm not sure of what exactly I need....15" is the better option? As well as what other specs I should consider......I'm a college student so obviously I need to pick the right computer with the right specs for the right price
Any advice would be very helpful
Thanks

Hey Chantel,
I am a Graphic Design major attending Full Sail University. Upon entering Full Sail, you are given something called a "Launchbox", which includes a MacBook Pro and the software needed for your major. I copied the information about the MacBook Pro I received from their website. This information might be helpful to you in choosing your MacBook Pro for Graphic Design.
Apple MacBook Pro, 15.4" glossy widescreen display, 2.6GHz Quad-core Intel Core i7, 8GB 1600MHz memory, 750GB Serial ATA Drive @ 5400 RPM, NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M with 1GB of GDDR5 memory, SuperDrive 8x DVD drive
My MacBook Pro has been very good to me so far. It runs Photoshop, Illustrator, etc. very well without any problems. I think that my school put together a great package with very good tech specs to fit my major. I hope that this information helps you in choosing your MacBook Pro.- Answered by Khadijah P from Reynoldsburg
