MacBook Air (with devices to transform it into a -more comfortable- Desktop) vs MacBook Pro for on the way graduate student?
I am finishing my doctoral program and I am frequently on the go doing research, attending conferences, etc. so I need something portable. On the other hand I spend a LOT of time on my computer (most of my day) so I am thinking of buying an external screen and keyboard to make my work at home more comfortable.
I am a heavy user of iTunes and amateur photographer, but other than that, most of my work can be done with iWork.
Which computer do you recommend me to get: MacBook Air 11" (for portability and cost) with external devices to make it more comfortable to use at home OR a MacBook Pro for home and on the go uses?
Thank you in advance!
