MacBook Air 2012 vs iPad 4

I have a very slow netbook right now and I am looking to upgrade for high school. I love the iPad for gaming, but the MacBook Air is so nice too. Can someone help me decide?

  • If you need to do smth. related to studies, research or homework then the MBA(Mackbook Air) is much better suited for this. You can install MS Office, Photoshop which will allow you to do almost everything. Also the keyboard on the MBA is much better suited for working with documents.
    iPad is better while on the go - in a bus/subway or just for simple media consumption like streaming videos, reading ebooks, games music, etc.
